Deadline


I think we need to set a deadline of when everyone needs to turn their number on here. Last year, we did it by the end of the day on Saturday.

Any supporters for resurrecting that idea?

Add an Exercise!!

Hey "guys"...thought a good goal this week would be take advantage of the warming weather and add an exercise. If you are currently doing none....do one day this week...if you are hitting 2 or 3 like Cindy up it to 3-4!! Baby steps will get us all in the habit of moving more!! I need to up mine...I have been pretty lazy all winter!

What is Everyone Doing?

Hi, Everyone:

Just to get the ball rolling here, I think it would be great if we each posted our individual weight loss plans here.  Then we can learn from each other and/or give each other helpful suggestions.

So far I have basically started eating a small bowl of cereal or oatmeal for breakfast, and either a Weight Watcher frozen meal or a can of soup for lunch.  I loaded up on produce and eat that whenever I am feeling snacky.  I haven't changed my cooking habits for dinner that much which is not good and which I need to work on.  I have basically been just trying to eat less of it than I normally would.  I am also trying to drink lots of water.

The thing I need to do is start exercising.  This is the hardest part for me.  I really hate to exercise.  I do.  I hate the way it feels while I am doing it and also when I am done.  I can think of 700 million other things I would rather be doing.  The only thing I sort of enjoy is walking, but it is so cold out I haven't felt like it.  Also, my shoulder is still recovering so I think pushing the stroller with all the kids would be tricky.  Even exercise videos use shoulders a LOT and are hard.  Any suggestions?
